We are Adam and Amanda, passionate followers of Jesus and His people. Our hearts are filled with grace and hope for lost and broken people. We reside in Ozaukee County , been married for 15 years, and have four incredible children. We love to worship together, enjoy the outdoors, travel, laugh, play card games and spend time with family and friends. God has instilled in us a deep desire to see people healed and transformed body, soul and spirit.

As a result of our experiences with foster care, addiction recovery and incarceration, the Lord has birthed the vision for Solomon’s Porch and the desire to see hearts transformed and families restored.

the

Vision

Solomon's Porch, mentioned in Acts, served as a meeting place for the early New Testament church. Acts 5:12 describes the apostles performing signs and wonders among the people while gathering there with one accord. Another instance in Acts 3:11 shows people running to meet Peter and others at Solomon's Porch after a miraculous healing.

The people in the New Testament gathered at Solomon's Porch were unified in Christ Jesus, experiencing the power of the Holy Spirit and witnessing extraordinary signs and wonders. They were also being equipped by the apostles, resulting in the continual addition of believers to the Lord's fold.

We believe that Solomon's Porch is the perfect name for our center of hope. "Solomon" means "Peace." Our vision is to create a peaceful space where through discipleship, counseling and community we witness healing, experience heart transformation, and restore families. Through our ministry, we aim to train and equip individuals to understand their true identity in Jesus Christ and we envision sending them out as disciples to impact their cities, communities, and even the ends of the earth.

Who

This has been simplified through time and experience. Whoever the Lord leads...He has brought and will continue to bring those that are in need of heart healing through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Isaiah 61

The spirit of the Lord God is upon me

Because the Lord has anointed me

To preach the good tidings to the poor;

He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted,

To proclaim liberty to the captives,

And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;

To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,

And the day of vengeance of our God;

To comfort all who mourn,

To console those who mourn in Zion,

To give beauty for ashes,

The oil of joy for mourning,

The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;

That they may be called trees of righteousness,

The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.
